Who we are
SmallBizTransform is a service of HOIBOY AI LTD (company number 17211412), and we're the controller of your details. Email hello@smallbiztransform.com about anything on this page.
Where your details come from
We find your business on its public Google Maps listing, and we look on the public web (your social pages and other listing sites) for your email, services and reviews. We use those details to build your preview website.
Why we use them
To make you a website, show it to you and ask if you'd like it. If you sign up, to run your website, take your payments and send you your domain invoices.
We do this under legitimate interests: telling a small business about a website we've made for it. If you'd rather we didn't, say STOP or email us and we stop.
Who helps us
Google (our spreadsheet), Cloudflare (hosting your website), Stripe (card payments), Anthropic (the research for your website) and the text message service that sends our texts.
How long we keep them
- If you never reply: 30 days from our first message.
- If you reply but don't buy: 30 days after your last reply.
- If we found your business but never made you a website: 30 days after we found you.
- If we made you a preview but never sent it to you: 30 days after it went up.
- If you're a client: 30 days after your subscription ends.
If you haven't signed up with us, after you say STOP we delete your details and keep only your Google listing ID and a scrambled copy of your phone number, so we never contact you again.
If you never reply, or reply but don't buy, after 30 days we delete everything except your Google listing ID and a scrambled copy of your number, so we never contact you again.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your details, ask us to correct them or delete them, and object to us using them (say STOP or email us). Email hello@smallbiztransform.com.
Not happy with how we've handled your details? Tell us first: we acknowledge complaints within 30 days. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
